Exterior | Tokyo, Japan | 2014
At 100 meters from the ground of Nihonbashi, in Tokyo, is a garden that Green Wise designed, created and manages.
Here, seasonal plants and flowers that were traditionally enjoyed through the trees in common areas and potted plants due to it being a densely populated area of the city, can now be enjoyed far above the ground and its surrounding walls, an environment that is usually demanding.
By building three planting areas in the garden, similar to giant vases in their function, we created a solution that allows us to periodically replace plants, adapting them to the season. In spring, cherry blossoms and golden bells are planted, in summer there is myrtle, fall is the period for Japanese maple, and winter has its firs.
